Valras beach
Valras Plage is an essential seaside resort in the region. Indeed, the city offers more than 4 kilometers of fine sandy beach in the heart of the city center. Our hotel with heated pool is just 200 meters from the beach. In summer, you can swim in complete safety, the beach is supervised. The beach is divided into two spaces: wild and urban. Nearby, you can enjoy shopping or lush nature. The beaches are accessible to people with reduced mobility. Swimming, idleness, fun and sun will be there. The shellfish port
6 kilometers from our establishment, we advise you to go to Port Conchylicole. It is the most important port for shellfish farming (cultivation of edible shellfish) in the Mediterranean. You can participate in tastings or directly do your shopping. Discover a unique know-how!
The Domaine des Orpellières
At the mouth of the Orb, discover the Domaine des Orpellières. Divided between the municipalities of Valras and Sérignan, this 170-hectare area is a conservatory for nature, fauna and flora. A dune landscape takes shape before your eyes. The contrast between the shades of green of nature, the gold of the sand and the azure of the water will charm you.
The tourist train
In summer, the little train travels through Valras Plage, every morning and evening. You will learn more about the history of the city, its port and its beach. During the 45-minute visit, you will be accompanied by audio commentary. Discover Valras Plage and its coastline in a different way.
The market
Les Halles Marty is the essential market of Valras Plage, from Tuesday to Sunday, all year round, and every day in summer. Producers and traders meet in the city center to offer you their good products: vegetables, fish of the day and many others. You can also do your shopping at the Plein Vent market on Place Charles Thomas on Mondays and Fridays in winter, and in the port car park on Mondays and Fridays in summer.
